Giveaway winner & Foundation list for different skin types

As you may know, my giveaway ended last night. Thank you to everyone who entered. I checked all the entries and compiled a list adding the correct amount of entries for those who entered twice and then used random.org to randomly select the winner who is going to receive:

Blush Seam Back Stockings from www.shopdixi.com

Boots Expert Heat Protection Taming Serum

Natural Collection Nail Colour in Café Manicure

LUSH Coalface Cleanser

Dermalogica Precleanse Sachet x2

So, the winner selected at random is: spifftiff88

Well done! and thank you to everyone who entered! It's been very interesting reading about your different foundation choices for different skin types. I'm still not entirely sure what one I shall be purchasing for myself but it has definitely given me more options to look at. I have combination skin that can become very dry (especially during the winter months) yet, I also have a very oily T-zone. Since the winter months are approaching, I need to take into account the dryness aspect more and it seems that Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse Foundation was the most popular for dry skin. I'm quite surprised by this, since when I used it, I found it only highlighted any dry areas on my face. That was a few years ago however and I am thinking about giving it another go.

I did also mention that I would be purchasing a foundation for a friend with a completely different skin type to mine. She has normal skin and never seems to have any problems at all so it looks like I will be purchasing the Max Factor Lasting Performance Foundation for her.

I have compiled a list below from the comments I received to help any of you who may also be having trouble searching for the right foundation for your skin type.

  4. Good day! I know this is kinda off topic nevertheless I'd figured I'd ask.
Would you be interested in exchanging links or maybe guest authoring a blog article or vice-versa?
My website discusses a lot of the same subjects as
yours and I believe we could greatly benefit from each other.
If you're interested feel free to shoot me an email. I look forward to hearing from you! Superb blog by the way!

  5. First off I want to say awesome blog! I had a
quick question that I'd like to ask if you do not mind. I was interested to find out how you center yourself and clear your thoughts before writing. I've
had a tough time clearing my thoughts in getting
my ideas out. I do take pleasure in writing but it just seems like the first 10
to 15 minutes are generally lost just trying to figure
out how to begin. Any recommendations or tips? Cheers!
